Honestly, check the CNBC headline:
'Alexa, find me a doctor': Amazon Alexa adds new medical skills
Amazon is moving more deeply into the $3.5 trillion health care sector.
In 1993 the SoundBlaster 16 sound card came with a little program that did what you told it to.
There were different options like 'close window', 'open file manager' and such, that you could do with your voice.
You read all options once and recorded the sentence. Then you just say "close this window" or whatever.
But adding the line: "Find me a doctor" and then call it medical skills is repulsive.
You just throw out a google search by three max four commands depending on programming talents.
Find me a doctor..
-Sure there is one 20 meters away.. Or whatever.
I get fucking disturbed when you add a 25 year old shit program to a "Artificial Intelligence" and call it medical skills, when there is none.
It doesn't understand shit. Just say: Find me a cheaper doctor! ..??
-I could click theSB16 window option for recording the sound voice for 'miniimize window".
But say tic-tac-toe.
So this voice recording minimizes the window afterwards.
And you didn't have to say it two, three times. Similar to what you said in the recording, and preferably with a flat tone. Hit 75% accurate all the time on first voice shot.
My friends were on visit one evening, and they was fucking impressed with how I told my Victor computer to do stuff. Open this. Execute that. Terminate Windows.
But Amazon Alexa are advertised like it understands:
"-Alexa. a quick Question!
-There is a cat in front of the bus, should I send it to space?"
Dyslexa answers. I don't understand!
-Neither did the cat.
Reflection on how it really works below, Ladies and Gentlemen.
You program a chip memory interface like this:
Then you can just throw out this command inside a program Print-text-2-5-3-1
And your computer 'thinks' it can understand those numbers, and prints this:
TIME IS UP DONALD TRUMP
The computer really understands what the words
TIME IS UP DONALD TRUMP means!
It means 2-5-3-1.
-That's how intelligent these 'so-called' artificial intelligence's (=AI's) really is.
So stop saying that you have added medical skills to an AI,
when you really just have made a Google search and displayed the answers.
